Cefepime 250mg + Tazobactam 31.25mg Injection is a Dry Powder Injection combining a fourth-generation cephalosporin (Cefepime) with a beta-lactamase inhibitor (Tazobactam). This combination enhances antibacterial activity and provides effective coverage against resistant bacterial strains.

Indications:

Cefepime + Tazobactam Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Intra-abdominal infections

• Gynecological infections

• Sepsis and bacteremia

• Complicated infections caused by resistant organisms

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: The usual recommended dose is equivalent to Cefepime 1–2g with Tazobactam 125–250mg every 12 hours, adjusted depending on the infection type and severity.

• Pediatric dosage: As directed by the physician, based on weight and infection severity.

• Route: Reconstitute the powder with sterile water for injection. Administer via intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) route under medical supervision.
