Cefuroxime 1500mg Injection is a broad-spectrum, second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is used to treat serious infections when oral therapy is not suitable.

Each vial contains Cefuroxime Sodium equivalent to 1500mg of Cefuroxime, supplied as a sterile dry powder for reconstitution prior to administration.

Indications:

Cefuroxime 1500mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: Recommended dose is 750mg to 1.5g every 8 hours, depending on infection severity, administered intravenously (IV) or intramuscularly (IM).

• Children: Dosage should be adjusted according to body weight and clinical condition.

• Reconstitute the powder with Sterile Water for Injection (WFI) before administration.
