Description:

Hydrocortisone Sodium Succinate Injection 100mg is a corticosteroid used to treat various inflammatory, allergic, and autoimmune conditions. It acts by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune system’s overactive response. It is also used in emergency management of adrenal insufficiency (Addisonian crisis) and severe allergic reactions.

Indications:

• Adrenal insufficiency (Addison’s disease, adrenal crisis)

• Severe allergic reactions and anaphylaxis

• Asthma exacerbations

• Rheumatic disorders (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis)

• Skin diseases (e.g., severe dermatitis)

• Shock associated with infection or trauma

• Inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g., ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease)

Dosage & Administration:

Dosage should be individualized based on the severity of the condition and patient response. Administer by intravenous or intramuscular injection as directed by a healthcare professional. Reconstitute the powder with the supplied sterile Water for Injection (WFI) before use.
