Indications:

Iron Sucrose Injection is indicated for:

• Treatment of iron deficiency anemia

• Management of anemia in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients

• Patients intolerant to or unresponsive to oral iron therapy

• Replenishing body iron stores before or after major surgeries

Dosage & Administration:

• To be administered intravenously (IV) only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.

• Dosage depends on the degree of iron deficiency and patient’s body weight.

• Administer as a slow IV injection or diluted in 100ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution and infused over 15–30 minutes.

• Do not administer by intramuscular or subcutaneous routes.
