Indications:

Meropenem 250mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Lower respiratory tract infections (including pneumonia)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Intra-abdominal infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Gynecological infections

• Bacterial septicemia and endocarditis

• Central nervous system infections (including meningitis)

• Complicated infections caused by resistant bacteria

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: The usual recommended dose is 500mg to 1g every 8 hours, depending on the severity and type of infection.

• Children (≥3 months): 10–20mg/kg body weight every 8 hours or as prescribed by a physician.

• Route: Administer via intravenous (IV) injection or infusion only.

• Reconstitute the powder with sterile water for injection prior to administration.

• Dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal impairment.

• Use under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
