Indications:

Piperacillin + Tazobactam Injection is indicated for the treatment of:

• Lower respiratory tract infections (pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Urinary tract infections (UTIs)

• Intra-abdominal infections

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Gynecological infections

• Septicemia and bacteremia

• Bone and joint infections

• Hospital-acquired infections and complicated intra-abdominal conditions

Dosage & Administration:

• Adults: Usually 4.5g (Piperacillin 4gm + Tazobactam 500mg) every 8 hours, administered intravenously over 30 minutes.

• Dosage may vary depending on infection severity, patient condition, and renal function.

• Reconstitute the dry powder with sterile water for injection or compatible IV fluid before administration.

• Do not mix with other IV drugs in the same syringe or infusion bag.

• Use only under medical supervision.
